Dentures are removable replacements for missing teeth and reduced gum tissue. If you’ve lost all of your natural teeth, whether from gum disease, tooth decay or injury, we will fit you for full dentures.
Types of Full Dentures
Full Conventional:
These are the dentures most people are familiar with. Conventional dentures are to replace all teeth and are removable. These dentures are fitted and made after the teeth are removed and gum tissues have healed, which may take several months.Full Immediate:
These dentures are removable like conventional dentures, but are inserted on the same day that the remaining teeth are removed. Your dentist will take measurements and make models of your jaw during a preliminary visit to create a full denture. You may have to return following the full healing process to have your dentures adjusted.
